The word “snow” brings many thoughts to mind. For some it is fun, beautiful and exciting. For some it means sledding, snowball fights and making snow angels. For others it means something completely different. It means icy roads, dangerous drifts and a plethora of car accidents.
Although I’ve written many papers since starting at Rochester College last year, I remember very well the first paper I wrote. It was a descriptive narrative essay for Composition A. This three-page paper was the catalyst that opened up a whole new world in my life.
RC alumnus, Troy Butler, has gathered the story of his life and walk with Christ in a new book, “Count It All Joy,” which he debuted at a book signing at Rochester College in November. Born with cerebral palsy, Butler, 41, has worked to overcoming his disease since birth.
