Violin for Sale

We are selling a 4/4 Scott Cao STV 500 violin. This instrument was handmade in Campbell California in 2002. The new STV-500 violins come from Scott Cao's GuangZhou workshop in China and are not near the quality of this instrument. We are the original owners, and it was an intermediate instrument for our daughter. She has moved up to a higher level instrument and this one has not been played for about 3 years. It's time to get it in the hands of someone who will get to use it regularly. The instrument is in perfect condition.

This instrument has a strong and bright G, A & E strings, with a smooth and mellow D string. The voice of this violin is much stronger than European instruments costing twice as much. It will easily provide all you ask of it until you reach the concert level. You can see by the pictures the rich tones of the top, and beautiful flaming on the back of the instrument. It would be difficult to find this quality wood in an instrument costing less than $1,000.
