Love At Work

Happy Valentine’s Day from us at the Shield! We asked some of the married professors from here on campus to answer how long they’ve been married and where they met and to find one word that they think is synonymous with love. Here are their answers; we hope they inspire you!

Lora and David Hutson

Professors Mr. and Mrs. Hutson have been married for almost four years. They met through a small group at their church. One word synonymous with love for them is “respect.”

Alison and David Keller

Dr. and Mrs. Keller have been married 39 years; 40 years in June.  Dr. Keller’s roommate at Harding School of Theology (then Harding Graduate School of Religion) introduced them one Sunday night at the Highland Street Church of Christ in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Keller chose “holiness” as a word synonymous with love while Mrs. Keller chose “unselfishness.”
